Dr. Camélie Deschamps is a hearty Thetford Mines native. Don’t let the name fool you; Thetford Mines is a small town in the heart of la belle province so one can expect a sizeable French accent from Camélie, but also a whole lot of genuine smiles and corny jokes. After completing a year of Med-P as well as her medical degree at the University of Montreal’s Trois-Rivières campus, Camélie is ready and excited to join and assist the community of Northern Ontario, armed with her brand of unwavering devotion to her patients and Residency Program. Outside of surgery (when there is something beyond surgery for her), Camélie enjoys knitting, playing the piano, listening to 80s rock, jogging outdoors, and spending time with friends and family, notably over board games.
